Working rope Fly (bulk)

Introduced in 2005 by Teufelberger and produced in its U.S. facility, FLY is a legendary rope revered by thousands of climbers globally for its outstanding soft grip and exceptional static qualities.

The design of Fly ensures it maintains a firm, round shape, significantly minimizing the glazing that can occur when ropes flatten in hardware. Despite its firmness, the rope is still supple enough to offer excellent knotability and secure knot retention.

Fly is suitable for both Single Rope Technique/Stationary Rope System (SRT/SRS) and Double Rope Technique/Moving Rope System (DRT/MRS), although its features are optimally utilized in DRT/MRS setups involving a hitch and a pulley.

It's important to note that with its 11.1mm diameter, FLY is not compatible with many mechanical descenders like the Rope Runner Pro or ZigZag. However, it does work with the Spiderjack and is uniquely approved and compatible with the Akimbo, being the only rope under 11.5mm that meets this criterion.

Warning: Some of our ropes are supplied with a non-PPE sewn termination. This termination is not designed for use as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and must never be used to support a person or ensure their safety at height. The non-PPE sewn termination is clearly marked on the rope with a specific label.
