tREX soft eye sling
Soft eye sling a must have in your rigging kit.
Please note that certain lengths are only available for specific diameters. Refer to the table below or the accompanying image to check the available options.
A soft sling, specially designed for arborists, is an essential tool for tree dismantling operations. Made from highly durable synthetic fibers, this sling offers exceptional flexibility while ensuring outstanding strength. Thanks to its robust yet lightweight design, it allows for easy lifting or moving of branches and trunks, while providing high resistance to wear and tear, as well as the challenging conditions encountered in the field.
The soft eye sling is equipped with a fixed loop, enabling quick and secure attachment around branches of various diameters. Its flexibility ensures a reliable and stable grip, even on uneven surfaces, making it an invaluable asset for arborists during tree dismantling or felling tasks.
Valued for its ease of use, strength, and adaptability to different situations, the soft sling is the tool of choice for professionals looking to optimize safety and efficiency in arboricultural work.
What rope does Hexarope use to make its adjustable slings with an eye?
Hexarope uses tREX from Teufelberger, which is ideal for use as a rigging line, soft eye sling, loopie, and whoopie. tREX is a low-stretch hollow braid rope made up of 12 strands.
This high-visibility rigging rope is easy to splice while maintaining a soft feel and excellent abrasion resistance. The distinctive features of tREX include its color design: each high-visibility strand is solution-dyed to prevent color loss over time. Additionally, tREX is wax-coated, which prevents the rope from becoming rough quickly, avoids the snagging typically encountered with such ropes, and significantly extends the rope's service life. tREX is available in diameters ranging from 9.5 mm to 22.2 mm, as well as in various colors.
